Our team was tasked with converting a former storage/kennel area into a guest house and we were excited to take on the challenge. We used an open floor plan to maximize the space and included a kitchen-bar area with a custom island, wood, and stone. In the bedroom, we found a workaround for the clerestory windows by using mirrors on either side of the bed to create the illusion of large windows. Then we installed ribbed upholstered millwork from the floor to the bottom edge of the clerestory windows to enhance the depth and height of the room.

 

Custom millwork and a neutral color palette throughout the home lend a modern, sleek, and bright atmosphere to the design.
